慈母手中線(자모수중선) 인자하신 우리 어머니 손에는 실

游子身上衣(유자신상의) 떠도는 이 몸의 옷을

臨行密密縫(림항밀밀봉) 떠날 때 촘촘히 꿰매어 주시고

意恐遲遲歸(의공지지귀) 더디 돌아올까 두려워하시네

誰言寸草心(수언촌초심) 누가 말했나, 한 치 풀의 마음으로써

報得三春輝(보득삼춘휘) 석 달 봄의 햇빛을 보답하라고
